Alinity Divine
Alinity was mentioned in a complaint suing Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch viewer who is from California filed a civil lawsuit seeking $25 million in damages from Twitch due to their exposure to "overly sexually provocative and explicit material of female streamers" during their use of the site. Dexerto discovered court records that show the plaintiff who has previously fought Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard in addition to Blizzard has filed a formal complaint on June 15. Twitch received an official summons from the court on the 19th June. In the lawsuit, made in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California, Estavillo suffers from numerous medical problems that necessitate his reliance on the internet for all his entertainment as well as having an obsessive-compulsive disorder, and sexual addiction, which is what the complaint states Twitch can only make worse. The complaint then outlined a number of female Twitch streamers who claim that they "continue to expose viewers to sexually addictive material and material on a frequent as well as consistent basis." Alinity is not included. In the request for relief, the company wants to permanently block all streamers who have violated Twitch Terms of Service. A total of $25 million is sought, "to be divided between the plaintiff as well as other Twitch Prime Turbo Subscribers" with the remainder going to charity.
