Vinita Nair

She joined ABC News in July of 2004 and has reported on many topics including Jon Benet Ramsey's investigation, Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings that occurred near Bailey, Colorado. Nair began her career as an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 for ABC News Now. As part of her role as a correspondent offered live news and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair worked as a co-anchor on World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital networks from September 17th, from 2008 until February 18, 2011. On both of these programs, Nair worked initially in partnership with Jeremy Hubbard. Later she co-anchored the show with Rob Nelson. On February 17 the 17th of February, 2011 Nair declared that Friday, February 18, would be her final evening on air on World News Now. Also, it would be one final day of work for ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her direct successor. In each of the three parts of World News Now's February 18 program, Nair was honored by former and current colleagues such as Jeremy Hubbard.
